Menta's Summer Retreat

Menta held its annual Summer Admin Retreat on June 28, 2023, bringing together our amazing leadership staff and administrators for a day of growth, reflection, and loads of fun. We dove deep into professional development, with a sprinkle of lightheartedness to boost our skills, foster teamwork, and help our students thrive. It was an incredible opportunity to learn, connect, and expand our horizons.

Through insightful workshops and engaging discussions, participants had the opportunity to brush up on the latest best procedures and practices, ensuring that their educational approaches remain effective and aligned with current trends and research.

Now, let’s talk about the highlight of the day: the escape room! Our Regional Directors had an epic surprise for us. They designed an escape room that showcased the Expanded Menta Method (EMM) as a super cool administrative tool and highlighted how it connects to student performance and their environment. And guess what? We all made it out alive!

 The impact of the retreat was huge. We left with renewed energy, armed with fresh ideas and practical tools to make positive changes in our educational spaces. Patti Pickering, Head of School at Vanguard Preparatory in Texas, summed it up perfectly, saying, “The best part of these retreats is sharing ideas. By tapping into the wisdom of the group, we gained new perspectives and innovative strategies to overcome the challenges we face in the classroom.”
