Menta staff in Arizona celebrated student graduations with a car parade and by placing graduation signs and balloons in student front yards. “We wanted to make sure that our students were recognized for all of their hard work over the past four years. We didn’t want their accomplishments to go unnoticed,” stated Kelly Carbone, principal of Southwest Academy.
In recognition for their accomplishments staff made all graduating students t-shirts, placed a graduation sign in their yards and dropped off a graduation present. Teachers and instructional assistants celebrated students by driving by each student’s home with a car parade!
